Been awhile since I practiced drawing a celebrity, I believe every artist has his or her own style and I’m definitely not the hyper realistic type. My niche has always been acrylic painting but doesn’t mean I don’t like to try all sorts of art.( Digital, etc.). Here’s to a multi talented artiste, Justin Bieber. As usual I shade with pencil grades B, 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B. In that sequence, then blend with a tortillon wrapped with tissue paper.

First of all, if you haven’t seen the movie “Deadpool” Big Sigh, but anyways apologies, to say my internet source provider haven’t frustrated the chakra out of me, I would be lying through my nose. Anywhere you are that isn’t Nigeria, (heck! Africa, unless it’s South Africa, Egypt and the likes) getting fast, stable, reliable internet is no easy task unless you spend a whooping sum. Commissions after commissions almost like a roller-coaster, finally I got to frame one of my personal favourite works and was able to practice on improving my art, currently working on drawing Arsenal’s star attacking midfielder Mesut Ozil (Gonna be so cool!). I’m never in a dilemma when it comes to saving my works or selling them, hey! I can always reproduce them even in a better version.

I have so many projects lined up this year, I hope I can meet up with my expectations but ultimately I hope to acquire my very first Faber Castell classic colour pencils but damn! The Dollar exchange rate to the Naira can make a grown man cry. I hope it falls (if it doesn’t Nigerians will only wail for a while, we all know they are the most adaptable creatures on the planet).

Hello guys! My internet has been crazily annoying these days plus I’ve been so damn busy with self-improvement stuffs, art tutorials and the likes. Judging by this recent artwork, I guess I’ve improved, spent a week on this, firstly started with a grid with mechanical pencil filled with B grade lead then mixed up with Derwent’s 8B pencil, Nataraj 2B, 4B, 5B and 2H pencils. Deal is to never shade only with one type of pencil grade, also blend with tissue paper in a circular form and tortillions for the tightly detailed areas. For white hairs, use an inkless pen, I lost mine, had to manage with a screw driver. I really hope the Democrats win the next U,S Presidential elections. (Always remember that your artwork or drawing is only as good as the reference image quality).
